SECURE
YOUR FUTURE WITH FUSION SECURITY LTD:
Connect Security Ltd is please to unveil a
new force to the security industry - Fusion
Security Ltd Formed from the merger
of Connect Security and Stargard Security.
While both businesses had man guarding as a common factor each
had different specialist services they were offering to clients.
Connect was predominantly involved with providing security
dog handlers
- it became the largest security dog handling company in the region
- while Stargard’s portfolio included alarm response, emergency
boarding up services, mobile patrols and special event security.
Together, as Fusion Security
Ltd, the business has now become the
county’s only company which can offer clients complete security
coverage all under one roof.
Andrew Reason said: “Both
of the current companies have strong reputations and benefit from
already being accredited to the highest standards
as of the SIA (Security Industry Authority) approved contractors
Scheme, NSI (National Security Inspectorate) (Guarding Gold status),
Investors in People, members of the BSIA (British Security Industry
Association) and members of NASDU (National Association of Security
Dog Users)
“
It means we can offer our clients complete peace of mind.”
The two businesses had been trading independently since being
formed within a year of each other, in 1997 and 1998 respectively.
Wayne Southern said: “The merger is good news for both staff
and clients alike, we are able to offer a more diverse set of services
and a stronger management structure whilst our staff will benefit
from greater job security and career opportunities.”

Dogs
put through paces for charity:

It's
always amazing how professional dog handlers can encourage
their animals to perform feats of bravery and all kinds of
amazing stunts - when normal people's dogs treat commands with
utter contempt!
Visitors at the
recent Little Harrowden School Fete got the chance to witness such
abilities and intelligence at first hand when dogs and handlers
from local specialist dog patrol company, Connect Security, demonstrated
great agility, impeccable obedience and superior control to support
fund raising efforts for the school.
"This is not usually
the sort of thing we do" said Connect Managing Director, Andrew
Reason, "but my daughter attends the school, so we thought we would
do our 'bit' to help the cause!"
The whole thing
was rounded off with a 'beat the goalie' penalty shoot out - where
the goalkeeper was Oscar, a two year old German Shepard. Connect
Security offered to donate £200 if acting Headmaster David Kent
scored a goal against Oscar - he did and Grace Reason, Andrew's
daughter, presented the cheque to the school. Burglary
foiled as dog has his day! (article taken from the Business Times)

When
it comes to security and deterrents - there is nothing more
effective than a dog! So it comes as no surprise that one of
the country's
largest suppliers of security dog services has just foiled
a well-organised burglary attempt.
Thieves
tried to break into a well-known large DIY store but were discovered
and chased off by a Connect Security patrol dog and handler.
Andrew Reason, Managing Director of Connect stated, "if was
not for the presence of the highly trained security patrol
dog with handler an organised gang such as this would not
have been deterred".

Security Ltd at our new offices to write a feature on
